Chainsmoking Alcoholic Sociopath

I feel like a cartoon boy

Lungs filled with rat poison

Enough to drown cognizance

Middle finger sprouted proudly

Aimed directly at the Earth’s orbit

I hope the peasants see it well

As they contort in conflagration

That erupts from my tear ducts

Every time the sun dares to shine

I imagine my face on every one

And what we look like inside

Splattered across the walls

It seems warmer
At night

Ice melts
Then freezes again
To hide all
Imperfections

The eyes of Saturn
Keep blinking

The smile of Jupiter
Keeps shining

And all I want
Is to get high
To light up the Arctic
Tundra
And let those imperfections
Twirl in twilight

I've ignited the forest
Sucked it through
Glass
Found that asteroids have
Angelic voices
Like infant cherubs

And I saw
Graffiti on the moon
Said that sex is god
And He is always
Judging us

And I witnessed
Saturn's rings implode
Particles of
Divorce
Love attracts but grinds

And I was there
As Atlus wept
Said the weight was
Too much
He put the Earth down
And wrapped himself
In cellophane

And I came back home
To admire the beauty
Of the burnt forest
To chill where smoke
Is always engulfing
Us

And to pray
For the cherubs
